About Toral Sharan

Born in Uganda, East Africa and raised in England — Toral Sharan brings a rare global perspective to career guidance. With over 20 years of dedicated expertise, she is an award-winning career counsellor and a chief mentor recognised across Dehradun, Mussoorie and beyond.

She was the first professional Career Counsellor employed by Welham Boys' School, one of India's top boarding schools — single-handedly building a full-fledged careers counselling cell from the ground up.

Beyond academia, Toral has worked with Vietnamese Boat Refugees (1981), championed Village Girls Education in India since 1983, and today supports girls' education in Rajpur, Dehradun. Her motto: "Live but live to share."
